If they do, the least you can do is respond and thank them.

2. Coaching changes

Just like the transfer portal every year there are hundreds of coaching changes in college baseball.

So

That coach you never responded to today could be at your DREAM school next year…

3. Protect your reputation

The baseball community is small

Coaches know each other and talk all the time

So

That coach who you ignored could be great friends with the coach of a school you have interest in.

What would he have to say about you if your name came up ?

4. Create opportunities for yourself

In today’s world with the transfer portal and new roster rules

You should never close your doors off to opportunities

There are still talented players out there who did not find a home in the portal.

Be open to exploring opportunities.
